Poem~ Because of Reggie

I never knew...
That just looking at a pic could make me Sooo happy...
I mean I know a picture is worth a thousand words...
But when each one is a synonym for happy...
The emotion is weightless.
There is a light and airy feeling and weight off my back
A more than fulfilled moment, a rope with just enough slack.

It's you... with you
looking at this picture gives me a moment...
The feeling that I can now exhale.

 I never knew that someone else's choice
to do something would have such an impact on how I felt.
For some reason i feel better
I stare at the picture and feel at peace
as all things around me get quieter.
I can't explain how much this person means to me,
and to witness him take this step forward onto the next journey...
Is a feeling of happiness that I just can't shake!

The strength that it takes, to make that change
to make just a decision, but then follow through...
How proud I am of you... I never knew!
